This is B

Time for you to meet my other half, B. Just a few things about him that you should know...

B is kind of a picky eater. While he'll try anything once, his normal day-to-day diet is quite simple and plain. Two of his faves are spicy tuna rolls (hold the mayo!) and Iced Blended Mochas (only from Coffee Bean). We eat grilled chicken and rice all the time :)

B is addicted to his "Words with Friends" app on his iPhone. He plays constantly and he is, as one of our friends put it, "surprisingly good at it." I personally stink at the game, but B can throw it down with the best of them.

One of his trademarks is that he always wears socks with his shoes, slippers, etc. You name it, he's wearing socks with it. Here's a rare pic of him sockless! *Gasp. This never happens-even when we're at the beach!

A post on my B wouldn't be complete without a nod to his all-time favorite player, Lebron James. B is what you would call a "die-hard fan." He was a Cleveland fan when Lebron was in Cleveland, he's now a Miami fan because, well-you guessed it, Lebron is now playing for the Miami Heat. Here's a pic of B this year when he finally got to meet Lebron face-to-face for the first time. He woke up at 6am on a Saturday and stood in this ridiculous line outside of the House of Hoops in L.A. for over 7 hours just so he could meet Lebron. B got to be one of three people who were selected to ask Lebron a question and this moment will go down as one of the best in his life without a doubt. B's facebook status that day was "Best Day Ever." :)

There are other things about B too...like his love of golf (he has a 6 handicap, not to brag or anything ;), his job (he works in Ad Sales), his music (get in his car and he's always thumping some kind of rap and/or hip-hop. Kanye is a fave), and his love of serving at church and with the youth. I think most would add here his love for me also, which is as devoted as they come.

B and I do life together. He helps me to step outside of my comfort zone and to really enjoy life. Here we are at a river camping trip we went on last summer. It was crazy, but it was fun because it was something we had never done before. I'm looking forward to all the "we've never done befores" that are to come as we enter into this next phase of life together.

B is also my biggest encourager in who I am and who God has created me to be. He supports me in whatever I do and he encourages me to be better in them too. One of my "before-30-bucket-list" things was to attend a college football game at my alma mater because I never went to a game while I was in school. B not only got us great seats, but he surprised me with a jersey to wear to the game too. He is thoughtful and loving of me like this in many ways. I am a better person because of him.

This is us on the morning of our engagement in the middle of Central Park in New York City. B flew all the way across the country on a red-eye to surprise me with the proposal of a lifetime while I was on vacation with my Mom, sister and a few women from our church. It was really special. I was so shocked that I didn't even cry and the first words out of my mouth when I saw him were, "What are you doing here?" I wish I could replay that moment for him. If I could I would cry, scream and jump up and down with excitement because that is how I really feel inside about marrying him.

B~you are God's greatest gift to me. Thank you for loving all of me, even the parts that stink sometimes :). I am so looking forward to marrying you and beginning our life together. I promise to try and show my emotions more...especially when they are happy emotions! :D I love you!

Soon-to-be Mrs. B,
Aim
